A special Eucharistic celebration for the victims of the flood and for the Church’s continuous battle against the Reproductive Health Bill was celebrated on Monday, August 14 at St. Peter’s Parish along Commonwealth Avenue, Quezon City. The mass were attended by numerous politicians, church leaders, clergy, pro lifers and parishioners of the Diocese of Novaliches.
The main celebrant was suppose to be CBCP President and Cebu Archbishop, Most Rev. Jose Palma. But due to heavy traffic, it was Lipa Archbishop Most Rev. Ramon Arguelles who took his place. Archbishop Palma arrived before the confiteor since the reading of the CBCP circular took place after the greeting.
