Saturday: In Nativitate Beatae Mariae Virginis

A mass in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite was celebrated today, the Feast of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, at the side chapel of Christ the King Parish, Greenmeadows Ave., Quezon City

The mass presider was Fr Tim Ofrasio SJ, Doctor of Liturgy, Professor at the Loyola School of Theology and the current parish priest of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish, Camarin, Caloocan.

So, here are some of the photos:

“When we were little, we kept close to our mother in a dark alley or if dogs barked at us. Now, when we feel temptations of the flesh, we should run to the side of our Mother in Heaven, by realizing how she is to us, and by means of aspirations. She will defend us and lead us to the light.” –St. Josemaria Escriva

On the feast of her nativity, my only prayer for us all can be summarized with a sentence found in the alma mater song of Ateneo: “…we pray you’ll keep us, Mary, constantly true; we pray you’ll keep us, Mary, faithful to you.”

Photos were taken by yours truly. Hope you like it.

Thanks for dropping by today…

Live long and prosper
