Requiem Mass

A Requiem Low Mass in the extraordinary form of the roman rite was celebrated today at the oratory of St. Ignatius of Loyola, Ateneo de Manila University. The mass was sponsored by the Ateneo Latin Mass Society (ALMS).

I was very excited since this was going to be the first time that I will attend a Requiem Low Mass and to see a black vestment live. Usually during the All Souls’ Day Liturgy, you would often see priests wear violet or white, but I have yet to see one wear black until today.

The mass was celebrated by none other than the Great Rev Fr Timoteo Ofrasio  SJ. I wish to thank him for yet another wonderful and solemn liturgy despite the limited resources today.

Here are some of the photos…

Check out the lace…

I seriously need a haircut. While I was taking pictures, my hair kept bothering my eye and oftentimes blocked the viewfinder.haha…

Thanks for dropping by today…
